Because of our long-standing commitment to service members and the opportunities we offer, the Department of Veteran's Affairs has accepted Schneider into it's exclusive Apprenticeship Program. During your first year working for Schneider, you are eligible to earn a monthly educational benefit paycheck from the VA in addition to your Schneider paycheck - up to $1069 each month. In addition to our Apprenticeship Program, Schneider will also give credit for military tractor-trailer driving experience.
We'll work closely with you and the VA to verify your qualifications for the program and ensure you receive the maximum benefit:
12 month program includes both Veterans and Non-Veterans
Veterans in the program will receive weekly wages from Schneider National and their monthly educational benefit payment from the VA Office - up to $1069 per month depending on years of service
All paperwork will be completed and submitted to the VA Office for approval while you are in orientation at Schneider National
To qualify, you must have your GI Bill, Post 9/11 or REAP available (to verify your eligibility with the VA, call 1-888-442-4551)
